The 12-month average of the All-India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (AICPI-IW) has finalized the index calculation for the July 2026 Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) revision.
Expected Rate
- Current Notified DA Rate: 60% (effective from January 1, 2026)
- Calculated Rate: 63.75%, rounded down per established statutory formula to 63%
- Effective Date: July 1, 2026 (arrears will be paid upon cabinet notification)
Important Note: While the statistical math is complete and verified, this instalment carries an expected, pending Cabinet approval status until the formal Office Memorandum is signed and published by the Department of Expenditure (DoE).
